I also seem to remember the fed giving away nuclear secrets way before the story from the above link.
Somewhere between the late 80s and early 90s. May have even been earlier in the 70s some time.
If memory serves me correctly it had something to do with an "at the time" ally in the middle east or mediteranean, but the country was known to house terrorists, and the US helped them with both their nuclear power plant start ups and showed them how to enrich uranium.
Basicly the outrage back then was, "well they can pass those secrets onto the terrorists they were housing". Add to that the not to long ago cases involving missing laptops from nuke plants and the supposed spies in nuke plants being arrested.
The secrets are already public, and out there, and have been for a while.
But at least it's nice to see someone else connecting the dots.
