Curiouser and curiouser.

So I am flipping through infomercial land at 3 a.m., and have noticed an increase of infomercials jumping on the natural healing bandwagon. I was trying to find one channel that was actually airing something. Well I didn't find any regular programming but I found a very entertaining informercial.

The program was for a set of natural healing books with one main book the focus called "ultimate healing". The thing that caught my eye was the presenter of the product was blinking about once every 1-2 seconds. I learned a long time ago that when people lie they tend to blink alot and the more they blink the more they are lying. This guy was blinking like a machine-gun.

Then life got interesting.

I stopped focusing on his eyelids and looked at his eyeballs. Half a second later the program cuts to a corespondant along with interviews, all this stuff clearly staged. But in that half second I saw something that made me stay tuned until they cut back to the first scene.

Sure enough the dude's pupils were slits, and stayed that way for half of the rest of the program, the other half the dude pupils would fluxuate big to small very fast, several times. Keep in mind this entire time he continues to blink about once every 1-2 seconds.

Here is the kicker.

The person doing the mock interview is old mainstream news ex anchor hugh downs.

So basicly the message I got was if you buy those books your eyes will do weird stuff (that is sarcasm)

I went to youtube to see if there was a video up, to link to this post, but couldn't find one.

Too bad, cause it was pretty comical.
