The way of the half ass(ed)

I haven't posted for a while because I have been busy preparing for what's coming up in the near future. I am also not going to talk about that other than to say it is very obvious what is coming and doesn't need a lot of explanation....everyone knows it now. I will however talk about one of the aspects that got us to this point in history.

Per a couple previous posts I hit on the topic of the demise of the ways and means of "solid state", and how this country that was built on that premise. In other words, when you did a job you did it in a way to make the quality, and achievement last for a long time. The process of making anything solid state seems to be something one does over a long period of time.

The concept, planning, designing, gathering, prepping, building, finishing, all long processes.

If you look around, you will see just about everything made in this day and age, it all happens very fast and almost overnight in a lot of cases. To include the material and parts used to make everything. 30 years ago as a kid I used to hear people who were 70 and 80 years old refer to doing something fast as being half assed. Over the years I would hear other people use the term anytime someone got busted messing up a job they were doing, via poor planning.

I, myself would spin my own tires doing poorly planned jobs, and up until the time I was about 25 would always be angry at how the universe was against me because everything I did turned out wrong and never came out the way I saw it my head, or tried to make it. This just didn't include material things, but also included all areas of my life.

So after taking a solid year out of my life to do some thinking on the matter, I came to the conclusion I was literally not thinking anything and everything through enough as I needed to. I would lie in bed every night and rewind all past events that went wrong and pick them apart and see what I did wrong.

It took me a year to come to the very simple answer that I was not spending enough time thinking, and preparing for whatever it is that I wanted to accomplish. In other words I was doing just about everything half assed. So now for me, personally, my life is alot easier in terms of getting things accomplished. I have learned to dwell on a subject for quite sometime before I act on it. Also I have learned to evaluate if a thing is worth my time to do or not in the long run.

That is not to say things do not still go wrong or that everything I do comes out smelling like roses, but the frustration factor is down a good ninety percent and the accomplishment factore is up eighty percent.

So having gone through the half ass experience and recognizing it myself, I can look around my surroundings and recognize it in other things. The problem with this is everywhere I look these days....that's all I see.

Things are breaking down because everything is speeding up. Since everything was not built solid state to allow for the speed up, the bolts holding everything together are all popping loose from the vibrational increases in speed. I mean this both literally and metaphoricly. Both in a material sense and a spiritual sense.

All that the human race has built up for the past century has been built half assed and the closer it got to the present. the more wide spread the half assness grew, both is size and intensity.

To me it seems no great mystery why things are the way they are. Sure there alot of other contributing factors that go into and along with this equation without a doubt. Other people use words in place of the term half ass, one of them being lazy, but that just equates to the same thing.

Pretty soon though people are not going to have a choice where it comes to being half assed anymore. Circumstances will force everyone to rethink everything wether thay want to or not.

To bad so sad.

Because after they do......they are going to find that is just the surface layer of many layers they need to re-evaluate.
