Remedy to fix this problem.

If police keep up this type of gestapo tactics then the solution becomes apparent. In the future, whenever ambulances get a call of an officer being injured, simply do not show up anymore, regardless of when or where.

If the officer is off duty and injured, and the ambulance shows up, and during the course of the call to the site, or at the site, it is discovered they are off duty, simply get back in the ambulance and drive away.

Then lets see how many ambulances they harass on their way to or from a call.
