Yet, another reason not to join the military.

This story says that it happened, but has since been rescinded.

This is both a lie and a truth in that regard.

Yes it was rescinded there because they already finished the inquiry and have collected the information they needed as to which soldiers owned private firearms, so big fat deal whether it was rescinded or not since they already know what they wanted to know, pertaining to who owned a gun. That's the truth of it. It has already been done, so they lose nothing in rescinding the order.

The lie is what they are not saying, which is how many other military bases this has happened or is happening, and since those stories have not come out yet exposing it, they have no need to rescind it, until exposed. WHich also will not matter since those bases also got the information they were after.
