Questionable gap of time.
As always I default to "if their lips are moving they are lying" rule, even though THEY are being silent about it, making it obvious they are falling back on their tried and true "keep quiet, eventually they'll forget" policy. Since they have yet to comment this time around.
Well what is he talking about you wonder.
Gas.....and the lies the ones who run the gas tell.
For example.....For years, decades, even probably half a century, or more, they have been toting the "gas costs this much because the suppliers set the price." line. BUT, if you were paying attention in the last month or so you would have noticed something interesting. That being a 2-3 week gap of time, where the cost of a barrel of oil dropped very rapidly. in the past when you saw barrel cost jump or drop there was an almost immediate reflection of that in the price at the pump......ALWAYS. At least always in my lifetime.
Didn't happen this time.
Obvious to anyone who cares to pay attention to what is actually going on around them, and not living their life with their head in the sand, or worse yet, with their head up their butt. That they have been maniuplating it since probably day one, AND that they have it down to an art by now.
Which begs the question "why was there such an obious and blatant 2-3 week gap this time around where it has never happened before?". Above and beyond this question, was the fact that it happened showed that their "golden excuse" that they have been spewing for so long, can now be considered null and void beyond doubt. Going back to the question as to why, I think a friend of mine said it best. Which is well they are purposefully trying to crash the economy, but since they do stuff in stages so people cant tell, and they have a specific deadline, they had to balance their curve.
Makes sense to me, and even so more now, because today I just filled 8 gallons (1/2 a tank), for 15 dollars, where one month ago same would have cost me 40 dollars. They didn't expect the economy to tank this fast and they had to shore up the plunge until it met their rate of decline. So now all of the sudden gas dropped $1.25 approximately in 2-3 weeks, more in some places, less in others. Which has been my personal proof for years that they were lying. Other than remote areas where hauling the stuff costs more, there shouldn't be a difference in price as you move across the country, but there is and always has been.
You can't use the arguement that the gas stations are the reason for that either because, it's already been proven that's a lie, and I have talked to a few myself who even admitted it to me. Those guys are held in check by the regulations more than anyone else in the chain of gas. They cannot without a damn good reason, gear it up like the others in the chain, and if they do, both government and the rest of the gas chain come down on them hard and fast.
I really hope a huge amount of people just woke up after this price drop/time gap, to realize what is really happening versus what government and the gasbags are spewing as excuses, which they seem to have so many of. So many in fact you can distill it down to being akin to any individual who has a myriad of excuses for what that individual does.
In the end a ton of excuses equals a ton of nothing.
They do break the law on a daily basis.
Although I could be wrong about that now due to the government sneaking so many new laws through, the past eight years. If so then I am wrong going back eight years, but I am right going back before then.
