Cutting out the middle man.

Well....I have been waiting for this to happen for a few years now, and have been noticing the decline with each passing year, until finally this year it has happened.

This year I have yet to see on the store shelves and on TV anything relating to thanksgiving, wait that is not exactly true, I did see one shelf in rite-aid with crappy decorations, made in china, but other than that............nothing.

You remember that holiday don't you? The one where we give thanks for what we have. The one where people share meals and time with each other. The one where people stopped what they were doing for 1 day and looked for a hungry person to feed.

Each year as this time came around I would say to people I knew, that this holiday would get pushed out as halloween and xmas (not christmas) got more commercial time, and ever increasing time as each year passed. Some of them would agree with me, while others just looked at me like I was nuts. Which is alright with me, because I really can care less what other people think, who can not see something this obvious.

I would not be suprised if the idiots eventually combined both into a 3 month super=season / holiday, and even less suprised if americans sat back and said nothing and did nothing when they do pervert it. Myself, personally I have almost completely stopped recognising both those holidays other than using it as an excuse to eat something sweet, and a good dinner with friends for christmas (not xmas).

Just one more obvious way they are killing off the positive spirit.

Already I am seeing xmas commercials where thanksgiving commercials used to be this time of year. The wal-mart type commercials really pull at my heartstrings....NOT.

Thank you whomever invented the remote control.
